Background
Many Hamilton kids don’t have reliable access to food on weekends when school programs aren’t running. Food4Kids Hamilton fills that gap with healthy meals, but they needed a fresh way to reach younger donors who care about local impact.

Challenge
Food4Kids Hamilton needed to engage a new generation of donors — younger Hamiltonians who care about local issues but don’t always respond to traditional fundraising. The goal: make giving more accessible, visible, and community-driven by proving that even small contributions can create big change.

Human Insight

Hamiltonians have a unique, underdog pride rooted in resilience, community, and looking out for one another.

Feeding Hamilton, One Shirt at a Time

We launched Hamilton Fed, a wearable fundraiser featuring artwork by local artist Tessa Presta. Every shirt sold funded weekend meals for kids. The campaign kicked off with a high-energy brand video and gained momentum through social media, local influencers, and community partners, making it easy for anyone to get involved.

Feel-Good Results

Hamilton Fed became more than a fundraiser — it was a city-wide movement. The campaign sold out t-shirts, generated over 70,000 organic video views, and grew Food4Kids Hamilton’s Instagram following by 170. Proof that when you tap into community pride, people step up.
